Our Team

Hello, my name is Laurie Lunstad, I am the director of Rejoice Preschool. I am originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan but have lived in Colorado since 1995. I started my career in elementary education in the Boulder Valley School District teaching Kindergarten and First Grade for 10 years. Through that experience, I gained a deep understanding of the foundational educational, developmental, and social skills children need to be successful in school.  

I took a few years off to have my own two children, and then went back to teaching at a private home-based preschool for 13 years. Teaching preschoolers became my passion, and I celebrate every skill learned and accomplished by the students. I am so excited to embark on this new adventure of opening Rejoice Preschool.

In my free time, I love to enjoy the beautiful Colorado weather by taking my dog for a walk, biking, skiing and camping with my family.
